Ancient Practices, Timeless Wisdom

Wu Dang Mountain Lineages

Our organization stands as a living testament to unbroken lineages of Daoist practitioners within the Wu Dang Mountains whose roots trace back to ancient China. We are privileged to be the custodians of this profound tradition, inheriting the wisdom and practices passed down through generations of dedicated individuals who sought harmony with the natural world and the inner self.

Our direct ancestors began the lineage of San Feng Pai over 610 years ago and Long Men Pai over 850 years ago.  Zhang San Feng came from a family with extensive knowledge of astrology, numerology and feng shui.  He continued to search for additional information and principles of Daoism to deepen his understanding and knowledge of the Dao.  After two hundred years of exploring China, mastering the arts of Daoism and starting the San Feng lineage at Wu Dang, he went off into the mountains to continue his cultivation and was never seen again.

Longmen Pai (Dragon Gate) Lineage

The Longmen Pai (Dragon Gate) lineage is one of the largest in the world, and much like a tree grows several spawning branches, which now extend into Germany, Russia, Mexico, France, Italy, United States and many other countries.  This lineage is a branch of the Quanzhen Daoists, which is a combination of Buddhist, Daoist and Neoconfucian teachings to create the Quanzhen Jiao (Complete Perfection Teaching).  The greatest disciples of Quanzhen are known as the "Seven Immortals", one of which was Qiu Chu Ji who practiced many years in Long Men Dong.  It was Qiu's students who formed Longmen Pai.  Longmen Pai specialize in the internal arts, also known as alchemy.  This is a very sacred art, where it's true teachings are not well known and some of the best kept ancient secrets.

Through rigorous training and a deep commitment to the principles of Daoism, Tai He Dao is bestowed to continue forth and carry the flame ignited by our forebears, bridging the ancient with the contemporary.  Our work is a tribute to the enduring relevance of these ancient teachings, offering a guiding light to navigate the complexities of the modern world while honoring the legacy of those who came before us.
